WINNER of the Oscar Pool will receive “A Kiss from the Queen of Salt”, a salt painting by worldwide acclaimed artist Bettina Werner.

In 2008 another salt painting titled “A Kiss from the Queen of Salt” was presented at the exclusive international Contemporary Art auction event hosted in Monaco by Princess Stephanie to support Fight Aids Monaco; this small size painting, 6 x 6 inches sold for 3,500 Euro. Bettina Werner is an internationally renowned artist, born in Milan in 1965, she studied at the prestigious Brera Academy of Fine Art. Adoptive American, she has been living and working in New York for many years, where she is known as the Queen of Salt because of her pioneering use of salt in art, having dedicated almost 25 years of investigation into its diverse possibilities, intense research documented through numerous international Art exhibitions.
